Rocky Mountain School

Rocky Mountain School is part of the Lower Kuskokwim School District (LKSD) and serves approximately 70 students in grades K-12, making it one of the district’s smaller schools. Our school is at the heart of Goodnews Bay, a remote, close-knit community rich in history and tradition. At Rocky Mountain School, we are proud to provide a supportive, family-like learning environment where students grow academically, socially, and physically. Our school day runs from 8:15 AM to 4:00 PM, filled with engaging lessons, hands-on learning, and opportunities to connect with our community’s rich heritage.
